Responsible use
Acceptable Use Policy
This policy protects clients, users and infrastructure used for hosting, software and other digital services.
Last updated: 29 July 2026
Prohibited activity
- Illegal, fraudulent, defamatory, abusive, discriminatory or rights-infringing content or activity.
- Malware, phishing, credential theft, unauthorised access, scanning, attacks or attempts to bypass security.
- Unsolicited bulk messaging, deceptive marketing or activity that breaches privacy or advertising rules.
- Content involving exploitation, serious harm or material prohibited by law or provider policy.
- Use that places unreasonable load on shared systems or interferes with another customer or service.
Accounts and credentials
Users must keep credentials secure, use appropriate access levels and promptly remove access for people who no longer need it. Account activity is treated as authorised until compromise is reported.
Content and permissions
Clients must have the necessary rights and permissions for uploaded content, data, software, domains and communications. They are responsible for notices, consent and age or sector restrictions applying to their service.
Investigation and action
We may investigate suspected abuse, preserve relevant records and cooperate with lawful requests. Access may be restricted or suspended where reasonably necessary to protect users, infrastructure or legal rights. Where possible, the client will be given an opportunity to remedy a non-urgent breach.
Reporting concerns
Suspected abuse or security issues should be reported to contact@performance-marketing.uk with enough information to investigate.
